Recommended fics may include slash, het, or horse sex, adult content or violence. Read at your own risk.
And some might be 'G' rated, too.
Fics I list here must
1) Be well written.
2) Include a horse (or similar burden beast) as a major player. Extra points if I think the horse is actually a character in its own right. Extra extra points if the horse is a character but remains a horse, vs. a human with four legs.
3) Be posted to an archive or website.
Updates as I feel like it. Suggestions received with a glad heart and extra carrots.
Recs may occasionally include non-horse animal related stories or profic stories. (Yes, I'll be pimping C.J. Cherryh's Rider series.)
